The word for the day is, “Ow.” That is what my wife said to me after I said it for about the hundredth time. I had worked all week and then spent my day off doing home renovations at our house. She told me to rest and let the stuff go for a bit. I wanted it all done before fall. I had a schedule in my head to keep. I was moving too fast working at dusk for some work outside and zigged when I should have zagged. That “Ow” finally sent me to a chiropractor in Cumming GA.
The zig zag comment is what I tell people when they see me in pain. What really happened was missing a step on the ladder on the way down. I thought I was on the last step of the step ladder, and imagine my surprise when my foot only found open air.
